The Denver Country Club neighborhood is one of Denver’s most prestigious ddresses. Developed in the early 1900’s it was often referred to as “Spanish Suburb” - some say it got this nickname due to the many tiled-roof homes, others say it is due to the Tudors and Mediterranean-style homes themselves. However the name came about, this area has enduring elegance, an eclectic variety of homes, wide parkways and the distinctive gates that welcome you!

Just south-east of downtown and bordered on the west by Downing Street, the east by University Boulevard, the south by Alameda Avenue and the north by 6th Avenue, Country Club real estate has the amenities, location and architecture to make it one of the most sought-after areas in the city. The close proximity to Cherry Creek and Downtown are one of the main reasons residents love calling this area home.

With about 400 homes in the community it is also one of the smallest in numbers but offers large homes and large lots. The streets have an older and distinguished feel. Large shade trees that form an overhead canopy, wide streets, well maintained sidewalks and houses that sit back from the curb offer charm and privacy.

Travel the streets of this neighborhood and you will find breathtaking homes along Circle Drive; bungalows; duplexes; Tudor mansions; Denver Squares; Victorians; Colonials; exquisite homes on every block. Some homes south of 3rd Avenue between Downing & Humboldt were required to have six to twelve lots per home! An abundance of architectural variety adds to the ambience of this highly sought after neighborhood.
